There once was a boy named Aladdin, who lived in Persia.  He was out playing one day when a stranger asked if he was the tailor's son.  The stranger claimed to be an uncle.

The uncle led Aladdin into the desert and asked him to retrieve a lamp from a cave. The uncle told Aladdin, Go down at the bottom of the steps and there is an open door into 3 halls, go through into the garden and find the lamp, empty it and bring it to me.

Aladdin found everything as he was told, but picked some fruit on the way back with the lamp, to the cave opening.

The uncle wanted the lamp before Aladdin was out of the cave and Aladdin refused, so the uncle who was an evil magician sealed Aladdin up in the cave.

Aladdin fell to his knees in the dark and clasped his hands and rubbed the ring from the uncle and the ring genie appeared and put he outside the cave.

Aladdin went home with the fruit, which were really gems and the lamp.  His mother didn't have food and decided to polish the lamp to sell.  A genie appeared and Aladdin bade he to fetch food for him and his mother.

Aladdin fell in love with the kingdom's Princess and sent his mother to ask the Sultan for the Princes in marriage.

To find out the ending of the story, you need to find the book in the library.
