One day Little Red Riding Hood went to visit her Grandmother. A wolf saw Red Riding Hood walking in the woods. He asked her where she was headed. “I’m going to see my Grandma,” she said. The wolf ran ahead of her to Grandma’s cottage. The wolf put Grandma in the closet, and climbed into her bed to await Red Riding Hood.

   

Red Riding Hood knocked on Grandma’s door. “Come in,” croaked the wolf. Red Riding Hood entered the cottage and walked towards Grandma’s bed.

“Grandma, what big eyes you have,” said Red Riding Hood. “The better to see you with my dear,” said the wolf.

“And Grandma, what big ears you have, “said Red Riding Hood. “The better to hear you with my dear,” said the wolf.

“Grandma! What big teeth you have!” exclaimed Red Riding Hood. “The better to EAT you with my dear,” shouted the wolf. He leaped out of the bed towards Red Riding Hood and she screamed.

A woodcutter walking nearby the cottage heard her scream, and came running. He rescued Red Riding Hood and Grandma. The wolf ran away.
